Being an exceptionally stable medical aid provider, Selfmed's reserves are well above the legal requirements.

It is aimed at entrepreneurs, professionals and selected companies, who require comprehensive medical cover and financial peace of mind regarding the payment of their medical accounts.

It offers several Options, each with its own unique features that satisfies the needs of both the individual consumer as well as the corporate sponsor.

Selfmed 80% - have your day-to-day expenses managed on your behalf, whilst being comfortable contributing a 20% co-payment towards day-to-day expenses.

Major Medical Benefits in hospital paid by scheme with no overall maximum. Covers all consultations, procedures, radiology and pathology. Unlimited MRI/CT Scans at 100% scheme rate. (80% scheme rate if not hospitalised)
Physiotherapy, speech and OT covered.
Limited specialised dentistry and chronic medication.
R30,000 at cost, artificial prosthesis limit.

Day-to-day Benefits unlimited, mostly covered at 80% of scheme rate with a 20% co-payment.
