OR you have a network allocated to provide these benefits to you on an unlimited basis.- Personal Savings Account used to fund day-to-day expenses that fall outside of the Primary Care Benefit. e.g. Non-generic medication.
It can also be used for all valid day-to-day claims if the Primary Care Benefit become depleted, so improving your available cover.
Savings accounts are interest-bearing and credit is advanced upfront according to the months remaining in the benefit year. Any Savings balance at the end of the year will be carried forward to the following benefit year.- Supplementary Day-to-day Cover additional cover for day-to-day expenses to complement the above two benefits. Items such as MRI/CT scans, medical appliances and medicines taken out of hospital are covered by this benefit.
- Grow Account is a bank savings account that allows you to choose how much you would like to save to cover medical-related expenses. It supplements your savings.
- Prescribed Minimum Benefits (PMB) Cover is provided on all Oxygen options for the diagnosis, medical management and medication obtained from the Scheme's designated service provider in respect of the 25 listed PMB chronic diseases (subject to conditions).
- Additional Insured Cover provides cover for specific chronic conditions outside of the PMB conditions and as such this cover is not available on all options.

Supplementary Benefit Besides the generous overall day-to-day cover benefit pools, on most of Oxygen's options a supplementary benefit pool pays for selected treatments from risk benefits that many competing schemes would pay from a member's savings. Items such as major medical procedures performed in the doctor's rooms, MRI scans performed out of hospital and medicines taken from hospital are covered here.
2. Wellness Benefit - designed to help you and your family to stay healthy. They are not part of your day-to-day benefits, and there is no extra cost to enjoy these benefits.

3. Unlimited basic dentistry - Several of Oxygen's options offer unlimited basic dentistry. That includes cover for the consultation, fluoride treatment, scale and polishing, fillings and extractions, x-rays and emergency root canals.
4. Emergency medical evacuation - the nearest emergency services provider will come to a member in need's aid, as opposed to a specific service provider. This includes fixed wing, helicopter and ambulance services.
5. Key doctors Should an Oxygen member require the details of a specialist to consult in a particular field, or perhaps requires a second opinion on a diagnosis they have received, this service will recommend a specialist on a peer-rated system. In other words, completely independent of Oxygen's involvement.
7. Oxygen Grow Account.while your Oxygen Medical Scheme will ensure that you are covered for the bigger events, we are introducing the Oxygen Medical Grow Account to help you save for any medical expenses that are not covered by the option that you choose. You choose your own level of monthly contribution.
