Executive plan - the most extensive cover for in-hospital and day-to-day healthcare expenses, as well as private ward cover up to R1 000 a day. Full cover if you consult with a specialist who charges the Premier Rate or Classic Direct Rate otherwise up to 300% of the Discovery Health rate. No overall hospital limit, but limits apply to some healthcare services and procedures, extensive chronic illness benefits, access to funding for the latest medical technology. Out of hospital costs paid from savings or threshold. General practitioner consultations up to R332 per consultation. R 10 mil overseas travel cover. Medical evacuation from certain African countries. R 8,580 in a savings account for day-to-day expenses. When your day-to-day claims accumulate to your threshold of R 8,580 the scheme then takes over paying claims till the year-end - all at scheme rates and with some sub limits. KeyCare Plus - No overall hospital limit on approved hospital admissions, but sub limits apply to some healthcare services and procedures. Consultation and procedure paid in full if you see a Keycare specialist - other healthcare professionals (e.g. GPs, x-rays and blood tests) paid up to the Discovery Health Rate. Antenatal benefits. Chronic conditions paid as long as your medicine is on the Keycare medicine list. R2,000 per person, per year for Keycare GP referred specialist consultations. R 95 co-pay for Keycare preferred casualty, other Keycare casualty units R 210 co-payment. Consultations and minor procedures paid at your Keycare GP. Selected basic x-rays and blood tests only if requested by your Keycare GP. Acute medicines (must be on the Keycare acute medicine list) only if prescribed by your Keycare GP. Selected basic dentistry (consultations, fillings and extractions) only at a Keycare dentist. One eye test and one pair of clear single-vision, bifocal or multi-focal lenses with a basic frame or a basic set of contact lenses for each person 24 months from your last claim, only at a Keycare optometrist.
